What it does

Looks up one company by name and shows where it sits in a city's rankings, with its share of that trade's named permits. Useful for checking your own position or a competitor's without reading a whole table.

How to use it

1. Open your city and find the rank lookup.
2. Type the company name as it appears on permits.
3. Read the rank, the permit count and the share.

Who it is for

Owners checking their own standing, and sales teams qualifying an account before a call.

Where it works

Same dependency as the rankings: it needs a feed that publishes contractor names. Cities whose feeds do not are labelled on the coverage page.
